Fortnite: Where to Find All Clay Pigeon Locations | Gaming

It’s a new week in Fortnite Battle Royale, which means that a new set of challenges is available. Most of this week’s challenges from a pretty familiar pattern but there are a few unique ones as well. One that might be giving some players trouble is the hunting challenge, which asks players to and shoot 5 clay pigeons at different around the Fortnite map.

Luckily, superfan thesquatingdog has put together a very helpful map that details where to find and how to complete all of the challenges for Season 5 Week 3 of Fortnite. Some might remember that this is the same fan that put together a map showing where to find all of the birthday cakes for Fortnite’s 1st birthday.

Like with those birthday cakes, Fortnite players are unlikely to get all of the clay pigeons in a single match. Epic Games has done well to scatter them across the distinct landmarks of Fortnite, even putting one in the new desert biome area.

To complete the clay pigeon shooting challenge in Fortnite, players need to find the launchers at each of the locations. Walk up to it and activate using the button prompt on the screen. If done correctly, the clay pigeon should launch into the air and all that’s left is to shoot it down. Do this 5 times and then you are done.

Other notable challenges this week include using a Launchpad once and getting 3 explosive eliminations. A few days ago this challenge might have proved a little more difficult after Epic Games disabled the remote explosive item, but the developer has since fixed whatever bug was tied to remote explosives.

For each challenge that players complete they will earn progress toward the Season 5 Battle Pass, which has a time traveling theme. Moreover, Epic Games says that some of the skins unlocked via this season’s Battle Pass will continue to evolve even after Season 5 has ended. Think of it like the Omega skin continuing to change throughout the lifespan of Fortnite.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
