The tech giant Microsoft redesigned “completely” its news service, which will have information from more than 3,000 headers around the world and can be consulted from various platforms.

The application, which can be consulted both on computers and mobile devices, operating with the iOS and Android operating systems, will be renamed Microsoft News and will allow users to receive information through platforms as diverse as Windows 10, Skype, Xbox, and Outlook.com.

“The application has been completely redesigned to become a modern and attractive experience for users,” the company reported on its official website.

The company has stressed that the editorial line will be under the direction of a team that will be responsible for selecting the content, with the help of collaborating media and an artificial intelligence system (AI).

“Every day, our partners send us more than 100,000 unique pieces of content.” Our AI scans the content as it arrives, processes it to understand dimensions such as topicality, category, subject type, opinion content, popularity, and potential, and then present it to our editors,” the note adds.

Among the various headers that collaborate with the tech giant Microsoft will be media, such as The New York Times, FOX News, The Washington Post, The Guardian, BBC News, Mashable etc.

The application will allow users to select the topics that matter most to them, so they can receive information in a personalized way and without additional cost.
