Google Play Pass Will Let You Download Paid & Free Apps
Google has confirmed that it is working on a subscription system for Playstore letting you download paid apps for a month.
The news comes from Google’s official Twitter account where the company revealed that the subscription system, known as Google Play Pass, is coming soon.

Google began testing Play Pass back in July and it appears that an official launch is imminent. There are no details mentioned in the tweet, but we do know that the subscription will grant you access to a library of paid apps and games with no ads or in-app purchases for a monthly fee of $4.99.
Play Pass vs Apple Arcade
This seems to be Google’s response to Apple announcing Apple Arcade, which is a similar service that gives you unlimited access to hundreds of exclusive games across all Apple platforms for exactly the same price. Apple Arcade will be available in over 150 countries once it launches on September 19.
One advantage Google Play Pass has over Apple Arcade is that it is not limited to games and will give users access to all kinds of apps including music, fitness trackers, advanced photo editors, etc. It will also be available to a much bigger audience as Google Playstore is available on over a billion Android phones in the world.
Google is expected to announce Play Pass alongside Pixel 4 early next month.
