If you are wondering how this feature works, then let me tell you WhatsApp will show you a notification with a double tick every time you try to forward a message that has been forwarded many times in a row before.

WhatsApp Spokesperson said “We have recently introduced an to our forwarded message label that helps people identify when they have received messages that were previously forwarded several times, such as a chain message. These highly forwarded messages will be marked with a double arrow icon, and users will receive a notification when they are forwarding such a message.”

The company believes that the newly introduced feature, of course, Frequently forwarded will help users to develop a conscience and look for more information to figure out whether the message is authentic or not. Only after confirming, users can go ahead by forwarding the message further.
