Gameka CMO takes home Rising Marketing Star award

THE Malaysian Awards 2018 recognises and acknowledge individuals who have made significant contributions and achievements in Malaysia’s marketing sector.

Narishvin Sukumaran from Sdn Bhd was awarded the “Rising Marketing Star” under the Media & Entertainment category.

Gameka was the only representative from the game industry at the awards. Gameka is a game development & gamification solution provider. Founded in 2015, Gameka is the house for a group of passionate gamers, wanting to build great games.

Since his entry to Gameka, Narishvin has made strides in strengthening the company’s brand. His initiatives; ranging from generating significant client leads to bringing media attention to the company, has branded Gameka as one of the leading game companies in Malaysia.

“This is an accumulation of efforts from not just one person but all of us. This is a testimony of the hard work, dedication, and passion of the entire Gameka team and I am proud to represent the company today to receive this . It’s never an ‘I’, it’s always a ‘We’ said Narishvin.

“We at Gameka are also honored and proud to represent the game industry in the CMO awards, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the industry stakeholders, in particular: MDEC for their continuous support. Without their support, we would not be here today,” Narishvin added.

Scholarships for “Rising Marketing Stars”

There will be a digital marketing scholarship for all six winners of the “Rising Marketing Star” Awards. They will be sponsored to participate in EConsultancy UK’s Fast Track Digital Marketing training programme that has been running since 2011 with consistently high ratings over the years.

This scholarship is a collaboration between ClickAcademy Asia and Marketing Magazine Asia to further incentivise the next generation of marketing leaders to participate in the upcoming CMO Awards.

As one of the “Rising Marketing Star” winners, Narishvin will be able to participate in this programme.
