Huawei’s Mate 30 Series Will be Launched Without these Google Apps

Chinese company Huawei is ready to launch its new handset that goes by the name Huawei 30, according to the sources, the handset will lack Google's Android operating system and also the essential Google applications such a the Google search, Maps, and Youtube.

The upcoming smartphone by Huawei can not be sold without licensed Google and services due to the US ban on sales to Huawei. The Chinese company is a threat to US security, says President Trump.

Huawei can still use Android ecosystem in their forthcoming smartphones as Android is open-source software, but the company would require an exclusive agreement with US-based company Google to includes its official apps which consist of the play store which is a gateway to download applications.

There is still no statement coming from Google whether it has applied for a license to offer its applications to Huawei. The Chinese company will reveal its forthcoming Mate 30 line-up on September 18th, and it is still not clear when the sales will commence.

Nonetheless, Huawei appears resolute. It's set up a website called “Huawei Answers” to address consumer concerns and said in a statement that, “Huawei will continue to use the Android OS and ecosystem if the US government allows us to do so. Otherwise, we will continue to develop our operating system and ecosystem.” The company announced plans for its operating system Harmony earlier this month, but many are unconvinced that it would prove a feasible alternative to Android.

Huawei has set up a website named “Huawei answers” to answer its customers' queries. The company released a statement saying, “Huawei will continue to use the Android OS and ecosystem if the US government allows us to do so. Otherwise, we will continue to develop our own operating system and ecosystem.”

The company has already announced its vision behind its own operating system, Harmony, this month, but people are not very sure if Harmony will be able to provide features similar to that of Google Android.
