Jakarta-based curated e-commerce platform for healthy food and cosmetics Lemonilo has raised an undisclosed funding from Alpha JWC Ventures and Unifam Capital.
In an email to Tech News, Lemonilo CEO Shinta Nurfauzia explained that the funding has been raised in July this year.
“The funding will be used to improve customer retail experience at our platform, and to create new products,” she wrote.
In addition to tech products such as its e-commerce platform, Lemonilo also produces and distributes its own organic food products, from instant noodle, virgin coconut oil, as well as seasoning paste and powder.

“We are a tech-driven brand, and from the operations’ standpoint, we are a tech meets FMCG company with M2C (manufacturer-to-consumers) business model. Our operation consists of curate-create-distribute process,” Nurfauzia explained.
The startup curated food and cosmetics products that are free from hundreds of “potentially harmful ingredients” to be sold on their marketplace. Using data and market research, they pin-point potentially scalable products that can reach high volume of sales.
The startup’s food technology team then reformulate the products as the company secures a potential partner to co-create the product under the Lemonilo brand.
Lemonilo was founded by Nurfauzia, Johannes Ardiant, and Ronald Wijaya.
It started off as healthtech startup named Konsula before pivoting into Lemonilo, and has raised seed funding round by East Ventures.
