MyCar drives digital transformation via Super App
KUALA LUMPUR (July 13): MyCar, one of Malaysia’s homegrown e-hailing service providers, has transformed its mobile platform by upgrading to the new MyCar Super App.
Platform Apps Sdn Bhd, which owns MyCar, has urged consumers to download the MyCar Super App via Google Playstore or Apple Store and to delete the old app immediately.
Its founder Mohd Noah Maideen said apart from the e-hailing service, MyCar now also offered halal food and beverage delivery (MyCar Eats), courier service (MyCar Delivery) and on-demand grocery shopping and delivery services (MyCar Shop).
“The new application (MyCar Super App) can already be used. With just a click, the new user-friendly and time-saving application gives customers the freedom to choose any of these services,” he told Bernama, adding that the official launch of the improved app was scheduled for Aug 8.
Mohd Noah said the MyCar food delivery service was expected to be fully operational next month while MyCar Delivery and MyCar Shop were scheduled to start in the third quarter of this year.
“The introduction of the MyCar Super App is to facilitate users’ daily needs and hopefully, it can help stimulate the country’s economic growth by providing job opportunities to Malaysians affected by the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
He added that advertising space for products and services were also offered by the MyCar fleet of vehicles.
