Activision Blizzard Studios are also attached to the film – the film division of the publisher of the game.

Release date:

According to Activision Blizzard studios in 2017. the film could start filming this year.

A potential date for the film is 2020.

However, without a distributor being attached to the title, this is subject to change.

Cast and potential crew:

However, according to the Metro, Sollima already has his eye on two actors.

The Gomorrah director revealed that Tom Hardy and Chris Pine are at the top of his wish-list to work with.

He has previously expressed his admiration at their work.

Sollima said about Hardy: “I mean, I like almost everything [he’s been in]. I’m waiting for his Venom. Even in Mad Max, he was great.”

About Pine, he said: “He’s tough, but he’s smart and he can have a sense of humour, but he can also be in such a dramatic role.”
