Nero is armed and dangerous.
Devil May Cry 5 Digital Deluxe Edition includes a Mega Man-inspired Devil Breaker, among other things.
Devil May Cry 5 got a new trailer at TGS 2018, detailing new weapons for Dante and Nero, the reveal of the mysterious third playable character, V, and Capcom also detailed exclusive in-game items that players can look forward to with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.
Along with his sword and handguns, Dante is getting a new weapon in the form of the Cavaliere R; a bladed motorcycle that tears up demon faces, limbs, and anything else that’s silly enough to step into its path.
Nero’s new Devil Breakers were also unveiled, including a Mega Man-inspired Mega Buster, which really deserves its own trailer. And it has one! Check it out below.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the new Devil Breakers along with a few extras, but pricing has yet to be confirmed:
Meanwhile, in Japan, where they really know how to incentivise players to get those pre-orders in, a fifth Devil Breaker arm was revealed, and it’s truly bananas. The screenshots were posted by Nibel on Twitter, with YouTuber Arekkz pointing to the similarity between the arm and this wonderfully insane Japanese ad.
We got some hands-on time with DMC 5 at Gamescom, and Tech’s Joe Skrebels said that the game feels amazing, even when Nero’s arm keeps falling off.
Capcom is aiming for a consistent 60 FPS with the title, so you’ll see that arm flopping about in the high speed combat and photorealistic graphics that Capcom is promising.
If those two brand new trailers weren’t enough, feast your eyes on this new batch of screenshots, fresh from TGS 2018.
Devil May Cry 5 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 8, 2019.
