Grand Theft Auto Online New Way To Board USS Luxington Business Battle

Grand Auto Online player reveals a sneaky new way to board the Luxington and complete the Los Santos Summer Special’s new Business Battle.

Grand Theft Auto Online has been treating players to a slew of new content with its Los Santos Summer Special update. Aside from new vehicles, missions, and the like, players can also now access new Business Battles, one of which takes place on the idling aircraft carrier, USS Luxington.

The USS Luxington Business Battle offers GTA Online players the usual hefty prize of $10,000, alongside valuable goods for their nightclub and cash bonuses depending on completion time. That being said, approaching the USS Luxington is no easy task. The floating aircraft carrier is defended by some of the game’s more threatening weapons.

Casually approaching the USS Luxington will trigger its defenses and can quickly lead to a player’s elimination. Clever users have pointed out, however, that the Luxington won’t defend itself from a free-falling player. That is, the ship’s defenses will only lock onto a vehicle or a parachuting player, so instead of trying to roll up in one of the new Summer update cars, players should simply freefall sneakily until the last possible moment.

Of course, the first step should be locating the USS Luxington. The large vessel can be found in the water at the southeasternmost corner of the map, past the Los Santos International Airport. Before heading there, players should make sure they have a parachute, and whatever equipment they may want to use during the Business Battle. The Los Santos Summer Special update brought in plenty of new material, so feel free to take the time to explore before heading to this Business Battle. Once prepared though, the method is fairly straightforward:

  1. Board an airplane and fly southeast, past the Los Santos International Airport
  2. Jump out once over the USS Luxington
  3. Deploy your parachute at the very last second

If timed correctly, the ship’s air defenses will fail to target the incoming player, and a safe landing will be no problem. Once onboard, the Business Battle plays out like any other, so simply focus on scoring those eliminations and gathering that loot. Players interested in completing the mission with some flair may want to unlock the Yacht Captain outfit before taking the aircraft carrier by stylish storm.

Players who were able to complete this Business Battle (or any other one) before August 19th should also remember to check their inventories for the Pink Dot Tech Mask, which was given as a bonus reward during that time period. People late to the party shouldn’t worry too much though, there’s still plenty of loot up for grabs, and there always seems to be an ongoing influx of new free cosmetics in Gta Online.

Grand Theft Auto Online is coming soon to PS5 and Xbox Series X, but is available now on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
