Green Man Gaming Launches Massive Sale That Discounts Thousands of Games
July has been chock-full of deals and discounts so far, from the active PlayStation Plus Flash Sale to Amazon Prime Day. Now, Green Man Gaming is taking its turn with a sale of its own, offering deep discounts and enticing rewards for PC gamers who missed the likes of the Steam Summer Sale and others.
While Prime Day has come and gone, this sale from Green Man Gaming has plenty of discounts to offer. Unlike the other sales, Green Man Gaming’s sale has its own added benefits that make it highly worth checking out. A vast number of the games offered have a tag associated with them: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
With each tagged item, shoppers get a 100% off coupon that applies to a list of games for each tag tier. Moreover, purchases of Gold-tagged games will include a 15% off coupon for the next game to be purchased from the sale. Those buying Silver-tagged games will receive a 10% off coupon that applies to on-sale items. Finally, anyone who gets a Bronze-tagged game will obtain a 7% off voucher for games on sale.
The games with Gold and Silver tags also come with an Intel Starter Pack, which includes the buyer’s choice of 4 out of 10 available games or pieces of in-game content. The free games include Gass Guzzlers Extreme, Raw Data, Goat Punks, There came an Echo, and Star Trek Bridge Crew. Meanwhile, the aforementioned in-game content applies to Star Wars Pinball, Star Trek Online, Dreadnought, AdVenture Capitalist, and Tera.
There are games that do not have any tiered tag. However, many of the more high-profile offers do have a tag associated with them. Some of the tagged items in Green Man Gaming‘s summer sale include the following:
As can be seen above, Green Man Gaming’s summer sale is offering an impressively wide variety of games. Moreover, they clearly aren’t shy to grant sizable discounts to somewhat recently-released titles like Resident Evil 2. The sale provides further evidence that more shopping outlets like the highly-trafficked Green Man Gaming are attempting to seriously compete with Steam with attractive discounts and persuasive nuances like the tag system.
Green Man Gaming’s sale ends on August 7.
