10 games in total are joining the library.
Microsoft has announced that Quantum Break and The Master Chief Collection, both major Xbox One console exclusives (Quantum Break was also released on the PC) are coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 1.
Onrush, a vehicular combat game, was released this June, and comes from Codemasters, which hired many of the developers from the now-defunct Evolution Studios. Expect Onrush to hit Xbox Game Pass on September 5.
Other games coming to the service on September 1 include Aven Colony, Shadow Warrior 1, Sky-Force Reloaded, Snake Pass, Manuel Samuel, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and InnerSpace.
The Master Chief Collection had been previously announced as a September Xbox Game Pass title, as the game recently received a major update prior to joining the service. The update adds 4K HDR support for all four games on Xbox One X, introduces offline LAN support, reworks the game’s matchmaking system and much more.
Remedy, the studio behind Quantum Break, recently formed a small team called Vanguard that is working on “ongoing live multiplayer game experiences.” The studio is also working on the third-person action-adventure game Control, which we described as a “supernatural Quantum Break” at E3.
For those not caught up with Xbox Game Pass, it’s an on-demand video game service, and will be included in Xbox All Access, which also bundles an Xbox One S or Xbox One X and an Xbox Live Gold membership for a flat monthly rate.
