While the social network giant Facebook Messenger’s team is playing an internal project called LightSpeed to accelerate the performance of the iOS application. While its code will be completely rewritten to reduce battery consumption and storage, which occupies only 30MB and opens in 1.3 seconds (without being in memory before), and it will be released later this , of course, 2019.

Yes, you heard it right, there will be a native app that will be released on Windows and MacOS in late 2019 as we told earlier. Moreover, the program will support group calls and other features.
