Baidu appoint Luo Rong as new chief financial officer

Chinese multinational technology company Baidu, has announced the appointment of Luo Rong as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

This was contained in a letter issued to all employees today, stating that Julius officially joined Baidu today as the chief financial officer of the group company, leading the management of Baidu’s financial system and reporting to Baidu CEO Li Yanhong. While the Former CFO Yu Zhengjun will rotate and serve as the chief strategy officer of the group company.

Julius graduated from Peking University in 2004 with a double bachelor’s degree in management and economics, a master’s degree in management from Tsinghua University in 2006, and a doctorate in management from Peking University in 2020.

Luo Rong has been the Chief Financial Officer of Good Future Education Group since 2014. He formerly worked at Microsoft, Lenovo, and eLong, among others.

Luo Rong has extensive CFO expertise and has aided in the transformation of online and offline technology education enterprises from operations-driven to data-driven and technology-driven.

Baidu is one of the largest AI and Internet companies in the world, specializes in Internet-related services and products and artificial intelligence, and has its headquarters in Beijing’s Haidian District.
