Connected wearable startup Lineable recently raised USD 2M from US-based Semtech.

Lineable CEO Seokmin Moon commented: “The new partnership with Semtech will allow us to do business with all wireless operators that have built LoRaWAN (see Notes) across the globe.”

The company is already in talks with renown telecommunications providers such as Swisscom AG and KPN to pursue new projects, and is also seeking collaboration with Comcast and Orange S.A.

Lineable plans to use this new round of investment to develop and manufacture succeeding products to its core family protection wearable device.
