Founded by Nicholas Koh, Wedever is a platform that helps customers to find wedding venues that suit their budget without having to call each of them personally.
It also provides a semi-crowdsourced price-per-pax estimation.
The acquisition itself is part of Venuerific’s effort to tap into the wedding industry.

“We have steadily built a strong foothold in the events industry by being able to provide the accessibility to unique venue spaces for corporate and social events. With the acquisition of Wedever, my team and I are looking forth to venturing into this promising wedding industry and making it a more hassle-free journey for couples to host their special day as well as enlarging the boundaries of wedding venues,” said Venuerific CEO and Co-Founder Ricardo Sentosa.
Launched in 2013, Venuerific provides a platform for event venues such as hotels and restaurants to connect to potential customers.
The acquisition marked the first the company has ever done.
Running its business mostly through bootstrapping, it has raised a “small” round of angel investment in 2014 and claimed to have helped more than 800 spaces in Southeast Asia to secure customers.
