The UK’s top car tech startups | Industry

Much of the current hype within the world of cars and technology focuses on autonomous vehicles. While driverless car tech is certainly an exciting area of research, the range of new technologies and innovations being worked on within the automotive sector goes much wider.

And it's far from just confined to a few tech and automotive giants in the US. Here in the UK there is a growing number of startups working on the latest breakthroughs within the sector.

A number of the startups listed below are members of TLA Automotive, a work group within the Tech London Advocates umbrella which is dedicated to representing the UK's automotive tech sector. It was founded in 2017 by David Murray-Hundley, a serial entrepreneur, investor, mentor and company chairman (plus Techworld contributor).
