At the same time, it's difficult to resist the temptation for “just one more video…”. However, the good news is, Google just updated the YouTube app for Android to include a “Dark Mode” feature that you find on its website.

The tech giant Microsoft's latest operating system, of course, Windows 10 has a Dark Mode, and not only that even the YouTube app for iOS also has this feature before Android.

How to use YouTube's Dark Mode on Android?

The first thing you should do is update the Youtube app. Then press the upper left button and choose the Settings option.

The next step is to choose the General option under Settings and then activate the Dark Theme from there.

But, if the option is not displayed after updating the app, then simply you should clear the app cache. Note that you must also have the version 13.35.51 of the YouTube app installed on your Android device.

Once this option is enabled, the new YouTube look will get activated and simply you can enjoy the dark mode on YouTube for Android.

This type of look comes, as we mentioned, to meet some health concerns in the eyes of users, but may also have a reason related to energy consumption.
