The global market for smart augmented reality (AR) glasses has struggled taking off even after few years of pilots, implementations, and a lot of hype. The report surveyed 50 AR/MR and VR providers, where HTC and Oculus were the key leading players in the field of VR, whereas Realwear, HoloLens, and Vuzix are primary smart glass providers in AR.
