Intel Malaysia donate another RM2 million for COVID-19 relief

Intel Malaysia is moving another RM2 million into helping Malaysia weathering the storm of COVID-19.

Adding up to a total of RM5.2million contributed, the latest is focused on providing medical equipment and fund support for hospitals that are hosting COVID-19 with the Penang and Kedah areas being the primary receiver of items such as oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, parameter monitors, advanced syringe pumps, nasal cannula machine tubes, and nose probes and more.

Other than that, part of the fund is used to basically serve as financial aid towards living basics of food and essentials for the less fortunate people and those who are risking their lives on the frontline like healthcare and security officers. Lastly, is also directly contributing to the educational sector by providing equipment for remote learning through programs such as Penang Science Cluster Project Lit Up, Laptop-on-Loan Program, and the Penang State E-Learning initiative.

In times like this, any help is some help and through Intel’s effort, hopefully, Malaysia will steadily survive through this pandemic and regain its economic growth in the near future.
