Malaysia takes 7th place in Legion of Champions III 2019

Legion of Champions III 2019 which was held in Bangkok, Thailand, ended with a bang with Malaysia’s team D.O.D taking home the 7th spot and a USD$900 prize (~RM3698). Taking the champion spot is team Awe Star from Korea, winning USD$7000 (~RM28763) and USD$5000 worth of Legion Y530 laptops. The tournament is the third collaboration between Lenovo and Intel.

The runner up, winning a total of USD$3000 (~RM12327), is team Diamond from Taiwan and 3rd place goes to team Mega Esports from Thailand, bringing home USD$2000 (~RM8218). Professional cosplayers as well as Thailand’s idol group, Sweat16! also made an appearance during the tournament, hyping up the atmosphere.
