NCT Group sign MoU with Microsoft in digitalisation of Smart Industrial Park
Malaysia-based property developer NCT Group of Companies (NCT Group) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft in Malaysia to support NCT Group in the digitalisation of the upcoming NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Selangor.
The MoU is set to serve as a starting point for NCT Group to explore Microsoft’s trusted cloud network and advanced data management solutions for NCT and its future tenants at NSIP, NCT Group said in a statement.
According to the statement, NCT Group aims to collaborate with Microsoft to look into Internet of Things (IoT), data architecture, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) along with edge computing, all of which will be beneficial to NSIP to drive efficiency and productivity.
To encourage greater digital savviness for the tenants at NSIP, NCT Group intends to leverage Microsoft’s Enterprise Skilling Program to deliver hands-on training of Microsoft technologies.
Certified candidates will be awarded a globally recognized certification, testament to their digital competencies, while being part of the Microsoft MEET Community, which provides access to the latest news on employability and digital talent acquisition.

NCT Group was founded in 1985, with the founding of NCT Tiling Sdn. Bhd. and its subsequent venture into the tiling sector, offering tiling products which meet global quality and environmental standards.
Then, in 1998, NCT Group ventured into construction, real estate and building materials trading upon realising the immense prospects the sectors have to offer.
A decade later, NCT Grouop transformed into a full-fledged property developer with medium-cost Bukit Rambai Idaman in Melaka as its first project.
