CT Nitro Fueled free on Nintendo Switch

Crash Team Racing (CTR) Nitro-Fueled is the next game being added to Switch ’s Game Trials program as a limited-time free title.

Nintendo Switch is continuing to expand in exciting new ways, this time with Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. For a limited time, Nintendo Switch members will be able to trial the full version of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, which includes local and online play.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a well-received kart racer that is a remastered title from the 1999 beloved Naughty Dog cult-classic. The title brings together characters from different franchises, with a fun and replayable grand prix, and multiple multiplayer events. For the low-low price of free (during this limited-time Nintendo Switch Online event) it seems worth the try.

The trial run begins on December 30 at 11:00 AM PT and will run until January 5 at 11:59 PM PT. Players who are interested will want to take advantage of playing Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled during this time. Of course, Nintendo Switch Online players are used to enjoying free content for limited periods, as its Game Trials program has made full games like Overwatch temporarily available for free on the Nintendo Switch. It’s likely that free trials like these will continue to be a thing moving forward, as Nintendo tries to sweeten its online deal.

Nintendo continues to think outside of the box with Nintendo Switch Online. Of course, not only does the subscription allow players to enjoy games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Splatoon 2 online, but Nintendo also adds classic SNES and NES games regularly. Additionally, exclusive games like Tetris 99 are made available, as well as the interesting and perhaps controversial choice of Super Mario Bros. 35 being made available limitedly.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is available for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
