Death Stranding Story Synopsis Leaked, Sounds Super Confusing

Hideo Kojima is known for creating games with complicated plots. And with how cryptic he has been with the plot of Death Stranding, it’s no surprise that fans still aren’t quite sure what the game will be about. Now the official Death Stranding synopsis has online, and it creates more questions than it does answers.

The Death Stranding story leak that the world has been “transformed” by some event called the “Death Stranding.” Norman Reedus’s character Sam Bridges caries the “remnants of the future” in his hands, and has to “reunite the shattered world.” The Death Stranding story leak still leaves a ton of unanswered questions about the game’s world and story, but hopefully we will get some clarification soon.

“Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time. What is the mystery of the Death Stranding? What will Sam discover on the road ahead? A genre defining gameplay experience holds these answers and more.”

Hopefully the new Death Stranding trailer will offer some clarification on the plot. Meanwhile, some fans may be more interested in Death Stranding‘s gameplay. We’ve seen some single player gameplay of Death Stranding since its E3 2016 announcement, but nothing all that substantial. The game’s multiplayer component also remains a mystery at the time of this writing.

We know that Death Stranding will have multiplayer, but beyond that, there isn’t much else that we know about it or what it will entail. It’s possible that Death Stranding‘s multiplayer will be restricted to social elements or maybe it will be more extensive than that, but again, we will have to learn more to know for sure.
