Genshin Impact 2.6 Leaker Reveals Irodori Festival characters
Besides new characters, each Genshin Impact update brings a new set of events for players to enjoy. These events usually include numerous quests and minigames that give various rewards.
The previous Genshin Impact update 2.4 brought the popular Lantern Rite. This is an important Chinese celebration, so it won’t be surprising that this event will be held every year in Genshin Impact.
Frequent Genshin Impact leaks and rumors have been a part of the game since its arrival back in 2020. A credible leaker named Genshin_Intel has revealed more information about the upcoming events that will arrive in update 2.6. According to the tweet, the Irodori Festival will bring the following minigames:
- Take plant photos for two NPCs in order to inspire their poetry.
- Swordfight minigame that requires parry.
- Tower defense minigame.
- Four Ikebana chores.
Tower defense minigames are usually the fan-favorite parts of each update that includes them. The same leaker has confirmed that finishing all these mini-games will grant a total of 680 Primogems which equals 11 wishes. In order to get these rewards, players need to complete the last stages of all four mini-games which include defeating “The Mightiest Warrior.” These rewards also include the popular four-star hydro character, Xingqiu, who is considered one of the best Genshin Impact support characters.
Players are eagerly awaiting this new update since it miHoYo already confirmed the arrival of a new Genshin Impact character – Kamisato Ayato. He has become one of the most anticipated Genshin Impact characters since his voice was teased in the official trailer for Arataki Itto. Multiple characters in the game claim that Ayato is a skilled sword and polearm user. Ayato was originally rumored to be released alongside another four-star character Shikanoin Heizou. Unlike Ayato, there is not much information about Heizou other than that he’s a detective. Shikanoin Heizou is a popular Inazuma detective who works for the Tenryu Commission.
The official live stream event for Genshin Impact update 2.5 has revealed a lot of content that will arrive in the foreseeable future. The stream gave some additional information about update 2.6 which will bring the long-awaited region Chasm. This famous region will bring a new type of Genshin Impact enemy from the Automaton family named Ruin Serpent. From what can be seen in the image, it’s safe to say that the Ruin Serpent will be a brand new Genshin Impact world boss which is unusual for the Automaton enemy type.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
