Without a doubt, Grand Theft Auto 5 has a wide range of different mods that make the game’s graphics more realistic, add unofficial new game modes, and even bring in licensed characters from other IPs to roam the streets of Los Santos. Now, the prolific GTA 5 modder known as JulioNIB has decided to bring the fictional extraterrestrial species known as the Predator into Rockstar Games’ open world title.
As seen in the video below for the Grand Theft Auto 5 Predator script mod, JulioNIB’s latest mod adds the intergalactic hunter as a playable character to the game, and brings a handful of its abilities to the table. For starters, players who download and install the mod will be able to finish of enemies with the Predator’s hand blades, Shoulder Cannon, Combistick, and can even wipe out all nearby NPCs with a mini-nuke Self-Destruct feature.
Per the video’s description, JulioNIB calls the Predator one of their “favorite villains”, and the work that they’ve put into this Grand Theft Auto 5 mod so far certainly shows it. For instance, not only are some of the Predator’s most well-known abilities on display, but also it’s the little details that really bring the extraterrestrial to life, with players able to cloak themselves, aim with a three-pronged reticle, and bleed green blood when being attacked.
According to JulioNIB, the Predator script mod for Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently a work in progress, with more features on the way. With this being the case, it will be interesting to see what other attacks the modder puts in the two empty slots in the Predator’s weapon wheel. Considering the fact that the iconic Smart Disc is currently absent, there’s a chance it might show up in the future.
Taking all of this into account, it’s safe to say that most Grand Theft Auto 5 fans will agree that JulioNIB’s Predator mod for the game is one of his best yet, which is certainly saying something. After all, their previous work includes mods that add a slew of different fan-favorite Marvel characters to the open world title, such as Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, and even Magneto.
