A subbed Sekiro may be in the cards.
Chief project administrator Bob Simpson, who works in translation and interpretation, replied to a fan on Twitter who asked if European players could use the game’s native Japanese audio with English subtitles. Simpson responded “The plan is to have JP audio as an option in every version.”

Fans have been hoping that the game would include optional Japanese audio, especially after the most recent Tokyo Game Show trailer dropped earlier this morning. If everything goes according to FromSoftware’s plan, that could extend well beyond English subtitles.
