And even if you don’t want to spend your hard-earned cash, there’s a way for you to win a huge PlayStation bundle simply by playing your PS4.

We’ve got all the details about Sony’s Days of Play Sale, including dates, best deals and competition details.

When is the next PlayStation Days of Play Sale?

Sony’s PlayStation Days of Play Sales are legendary amongst PS4 gamers, providing a great way to pick up games you might’ve missed the first time around with heavy discounts applied.

It’s not only for games on the PlayStation Store either; the Days of Play Sale provides discounts across hardware, with Sony offering cheaper PS4 and PSVR bundles than ever before.

Following praise from fans in 2017, the Days of Play Sale is back for 2018. The Days of Play 2018 sale is now live and will last for 11 days, until 18 June 2018.

What are the best Days of Play Sale deals?

Sony will be releasing a plethora of discounts across the Days of Play event, with many found on the Sony Days of Play website. We’re also seeing deals from retailers including GAME and ShopTo.

But with so much on offer, it can be hard to find the best deals available.

Don’t worry, we at Tech Advisor have scoured the Days of Play site and other retailers, and have found some of the best deals for PS4 games and hardware.

Let’s start with PlayStation VR: since launching back in 2016, PSVR has steadily dropped in price, making high-quality VR more accessible to the millions of PlayStation 4 owners around the world.

The Best Days of Play deal for PSVR bundles is undoubtedly the £199.99 (£60 discount) PS VR Starter Pack that includes either WipEout Omega Collection or Gran Turismo Sport.

For those unaware, the Starter Pack comes with the PlayStation Camera alongside the headset, a required component for VR use.

Considering the PSVR headset launched at £349 without any games or even the PlayStation Camera, it’s the perfect time for interested gamers to jump into the world of VR without blowing the bank.

Alongside PlayStation VR, you can also pick up the Gold Wireless Headset for £49.99 (£28 discount), a regular (or limited edition) DualShock 4 controller for £39.99 (£15 discount) and, for those that want to pick up a new PS4, you can grab the limited edition blue-and-gold console and two limited edition controllers for £249.99.

But what about games? So far, the best deals seem to be on God of War, down £24 to £35.99, alongside Shadow of the Colossus at £15.99 (£24 discount) and Gran Turismo Sport at £15.99 (£45 off). And if you missed it the first time around, you can pick up Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for £19.99 (£20 off).

We’ll update this as more deals go live, so make sure you check back soon for the latest and greatest Sony Days of Play Sale deals.

Days of Play Sale Competition

As well as picking up some discounted software and hardware, Sony is running an official Days of Play competition with an impressive prize.

The winner of the competition will win a Limited Edition 500GB PS4, a PSVR Starter Pack, a 12-month PS Plus subscription and a £70 PlayStation Store voucher every month for the next year. Three runners-up from each country will also receive 12-month subscriptions to PlayStation Plus.

It sounds like a great competition – but there’s a catch. It’s not a competition that you sign up for and wait with your fingers crossed, oh no.

To enter, you’ll first have to register for the competition on the Days of Play website. Then, you have to unlock one PS4 trophy every day between 8 and 18 June 2018 (11 in total) to be in with a chance of winning. It can be any trophy from any game, you just need to make sure you unlock at least one per day.

If that seems like your cup of tea, head over to the Days of Play website now to sign up. Good luck!
