Fortnite: Where to Find the Dusty Divot Treasure Map

After a short delay, the Season 5 Week 7 challenges are now live in Fortnite battle royale. The challenges don’t match up exactly with the leaked challenges, as the leak suggested that players would be visiting Pleasant Park to find a treasure map this week – instead, they will have to travel to Dusty Divot.

Of course, players don’t have to actually go to Dusty Divot and find the treasure map if they don’t want to. In fact, Fortnite battle royale players can simply head straight for the hidden battle star’s location, which is just northwest of Dusty Divot itself. The treasure map’s location in Dusty Divot is random, and since it will be a high traffic area, we recommend just skipping that step, unless one really wants to look at the treasure map for some reason.

At any rate, the location of the battle star is just northwest of Dusty Divot, as previously stated. The treasure map shows three trees with an X in its center, right near a Stone Head with a mustache and some logs next to it. This particular Stone Head, like the hidden battle star, can be found northwest of Dusty Divot, so head there now.

Without using a guide, completing this challenge would actually be one of the tougher challenges for Season 5 Week 7 in Fortnite. However, if one knows the battle star’s location, completing this challenge is simply a matter of landing in the right spot, walking up to the battle star, and collecting it. Even so, keep in mind that this particular area of the map is going to have a lot of people there right now as everyone is trying to collect the battle star, so expect to run into some trouble.

The other Week 7 challenges are mostly self-explanatory, though this week does have a multi-step challenge that mixes things up a bit. Players can focus on that multi-step challenge and the other Week 7 challenges after they get this hidden battle star out of the way.
